Essiac was developed in tea form and meant to be consumed in a tea form, not to be confused with concentrated or pill form doses

You can sweeten the tea with Stevia , a natural sweetener that people have had very good luck with. Adding a little cinnamon while brewing helps too. Honey adds a better flavor also.

 About Rene Caisse


The herbal formula, today called Essiac passed the test for the first time in 1922 when Rene Caisse used it to administer to her aunt who developed terminal stomach illness with liver metastases. After using Rene’s herbal remedy (essiac tea), she stayed illness free until she died, 21 years after her Doctors concluded that there was no hope of recovery.

Despite numerous obstacles along the way in her long career as a nurse, Rene Caisse successfully treated thousands of patients, free of charge. The patients praised her work and the health benefits after using the Essiac Tea remedy. Rene protected the Essiac therapy from drug companies by keeping the ingredients secret. She was always afraid that Essiac Tea would be misused or suppressed.
